Location & How to Travel Here

Clos d'Embertrand is located just outside Ville Mougins in the Mougin region on a breathtaking hillside not far from Grasse, Antibes and Cannes near the village of Val du Mougin. It is a 25 minute drive from Nice Airport.

It has local amenities nearby, you can take a morning stroll for freshly made bread or croissants (which are simply sensational), or to visit the fabulous restauraunts, galleries or museums.

Getting to the House

Take exit 42 off A8.
Follow green sign in direction of Grasse. This should bring you onto the “Voie Rapide” N85.
DO NOT take the first exit to Mougins. I repeat . DO NOT take the first exit to Mougins.
Take the 3rd exit for St. Martin /Mougins exit which is the N2085.
Continue for about 200 metres until you come to a roundabout.
This is where everybody goes wrong. Go around the roundabout and COME BACK ON YOURSELF except when you come to the fork take the left hand exit to St. Martin/Mougins not the Right Hand Fork which goes back to the Voie Rapide and the A8.
You will immediately arrive at a roundabout which you go straight across (not literally) through Tournamy.
After 500 metres you will come to another small roundabout with an Olive tree in the middle (Just before a little village called Val du Mougin), turn right into Avenue Juyette.
After 350 metres you will come to a Stop Street. Turn right into Chemin St. Bartholemy.
Follow this twisty narrow road for 600 metres. You will arrive at an 11th Century Chapel. (It looks like an old hut).
Take the right hand fork down Chemin du Clos d’Embertrand. This Road twists and turns with a hairpin bend.
We are the last entrance on the left, big Green Metal gates, No. 633, before you reach a T-Junction at Chemin Jylloue. If you turn into Chemin Jylloue you have gone too far.

A Google Map is available by clicking here. The house is on the coner of Chemin Jylloue and the LHS of Chemin Clos d'Embertrand. (You can see the Pool and the Tennis Court) and a Private Forest that the house backs on to zoom out to get directions.
